RCOR Bouncer Plate | Kawasaki Teryx H2 Transmission Skid Plate

When a ½-inch plastic skid isn’t enough, put ¼ inch of American steel under your H2 transmission.

We spent the last year developing the Bouncer Plate on our shop Teryx H2, riding exclusively on tough East Coast trails. We built it for the gnarly rock ledges and boulder-strewn climbs where you’re going to drag the belly or come down hard right under the transmission.

The RCOR Bouncer Plate is the only steel transmission skid plate currently available for the Kawasaki Teryx H2. It’s made from ¼-inch-thick steel, designed and manufactured in the USA using U.S.-sourced materials.

Run it your way

  • Above a ½-inch plastic skid plate. This is how we run it on our shop H2. The plastic stays underneath as the sliding surface, with steel backing it up in the transmission area.

  • On its own. Run the Bouncer Plate by itself for dedicated protection under the transmission.

All mounting hardware is included. Every plate ships with a black rust-preventive coating already applied. Product photos show the plate in raw steel for reference.

Fits all years Teryx H2 4 and 5 seater. "Should fit the 2 seater, but we have not test fit one yet".

RCOR Bouncer Plate Installation

  1. Expose the frame. With the machine safely supported, remove the plastic skid plate, if installed, to expose the frame beneath the transmission.

  2. Mark the four mounting holes. From underneath the machine, hold the Bouncer Plate against the frame in its installed position. Use the four holes in the plate to mark the corresponding holes in the frame.

  3. Enlarge the frame holes. Set the Bouncer Plate aside and use a ½-inch drill bit to enlarge the four marked frame holes. Deburr the holes after drilling.

  4. Install the Bouncer Plate. Hold the plate against the frame and insert the included countersunk bolts from underneath. Install an included washer and locknut on each bolt above the frame. Start all four locknuts before tightening, then check that each bolt head sits flush with the underside of the plate.

  5. Reinstall the plastic skid plate if you’re running both. The Bouncer Plate mounts directly against the frame, with the ½-inch plastic skid plate below it. For a standalone installation, you’re done after tightening the mounting hardware.
